Richard Branson

Richard Branson is an English business magnate. He was born  July 18, 1950 in Surrey, England. His father, Edward James Branson, worked as a barrister. His mother, Eve Branson, was employed as a flight attendant. Richard, who struggled with dyslexia, had a hard time with educational institutions. He nearly failed out of the all-boys Scaitcliffe School, which he attended until the age of 13. He then transferred to Stowe School, a boarding school in Stowe, Buckinghamshire, England. Still struggling, Branson dropped out at the age of 16 to start a youth-culture magazine called Student. The publication, run by students, for students, sold $8,000 worth of advertising in its first edition, which was launched in 1966. The first run of 50,000 copies was disseminated for free, after Branson covered the costs with advertising.
The Way To Success
By 1969, Branson was living in a London commune, surrounded by the British music and drug scene. he was able to expand his business venture, adding a record shop in Oxford Street, London. With the success of the record shop, the high school drop-out was able to build a recording studio in 1972 in Oxfordshire, England. His first artist on the Virgin Records label, Mike Oldfield, recorded his single "Tubular Bells" in 1973 with the help of Branson's team. Branson expanded his entrepreneurial efforts yet again, this time to include the travel company the Voyager Group in 1980, the airline Virgin Atlantic in 1984, and a series of Virgin Megastores. But Branson's success was not always predictable. By 1992, Virgin was suddenly struggling to stay financially afloat. The company was sold later that year to THORN EMI for $1 billion. Branson was crushed by the loss, reportedly crying after the contract was signed, but remained determined to stay in the music business. In 1993, he founded the station Virgin Radio, and several years later he started a second record company, V2. Founded in 1996, V2 now includes artists such as Powder Finger and Tom Jones.

In 2002, she concluded a deal with the network to air a prime-time complement to her syndicated talk show. Her highly successful monthly, In 2009, Winfrey announced that she would be ending her program when her current contract with ABC ends. Winfrey is expected to move to the Oprah Winfrey Network, a joint venture with Discovery Communications. The show is currently seen on 212 U.S. stations and in more than 100 countries worldwide.

BEAUTY COMES FROM THE INSIDE
Whenever i see a woman who reached a lot, it inspires me a lot, because women`s nature  is not as much strong as man men`s, but they are like flowers in the society and in our life. Kathy knew that she would not stay forever in front of camera, one day she has to leave, and she could chose a right way , she became an entrepreneur and god a success in business as well.  Even if she failed , she learned from it, She is the inspiration for all ladies. People always think that modeling is just for mindless and who is in love with themselves, but actually she proved that she can work hard and get success. The most important thing that i learned from her was that the beauty is not outside , it is what comes from the inside of the person. So let`s value people by their inside beauty and ability.

Ingvar Kamprad

Kamprad was born in the south of Sweden in 1926 and raised on a farm called Elmtaryd, near the small village of Agunnaryd. At an early age, he learned that he could buy matches in bulk from Stockholm and sell them at a fair price, but a good profit. He reinvested his profits and expanded to fish, seeds, Christmas tree decorations, and pens and pencils. At age 17, Kamprad's father gave him a nice reward for doing well in school. What did he spend it on? He founded IKEA.

IKEA

The name IKEA was formed from Kamprad's initials (I.K.) plus the first letters of Elmtaryd and Agunnaryd, the farm and village where he grew up. He continued to expand his business to a variety of goods, including wallets and watches, jewelery and stockings. When he outgrew his ability to call on his customers individually, he converted to a sort of makeshift mail order operation, hiring the local milk van to make his deliveries. In 1947, Kamprad introduced furniture into the IKEA product line. The use of local manufacturers allowed him to keep his costs down. The furniture was a hit, and in 1951, Kamprad decided to discontinue all other product lines and focus on furniture. In 1953, the first IKEA showroom opened. It came about because of competitive pressures. IKEA was in a price war with its main competitor. The showroom allowed people to see it, touch it, feel it, and be sure of the quality before buying.IKEA has now become known worldwide for its innovative and stylish designs. Almost all IKEA products are designed to for flat packaging, which reduces shipping costs, minimizes transport damage, increases store inventory capacity, and makes it easier for customers to take the furniture home themselves, rather than needing delivery. But the original reason for it was competitive pressure from IKEA's competitors to their suppliers, who actually boycotted IKEA, forcing IKEA to do it themselves.
On the one hand, Kamprad has a reputation for being, well, "cheap". He takes the subway to work, and when he drives, it's an old Volvo. Rumor is that when he stays in a hotel, if he feels the urge to drink one of those expensive sodas from the wetbar, he replaces it later with one picked up from a nearby convenience store. Anyway, people always talk, even good or bad, but the thing is that to be billionaire you should know how to save from a single cent, because cents become dollar, dollar becomes dollars, and money increases in this way. He gave a lesson that we couldn't  loose the time and resource we have, it is the most important thing in business.

Bill Hewlett

William( Bill) Redington Hewlett was born on May 20, 1913. He was an engineer and the co-founder with David Packard -of the Hewlett-Packard Company(HP). He attended Stanford University in Stanford, Calif., and received a bachelor of arts degree in 1934. He also received a master's degree in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1936. Additionally, he received the degree of Engineer from Stanford University in 1939.Hewlett met Packard during their undergraduate days at Stanford. The two engineering classmates became friends and formed a partnership known as Hewlett-Packard Company in 1939. HP's first product was a resistance-capacitance audio oscillator based on a design developed by Hewlett when he was in graduate school. The company's first "plant" was a small garage in Palo Alto, and the initial capital amounted to $538.

HP

Hewlett was involved actively in management of the company until 1987, with the exception of the years he served as an Army officer during World War II. He was on the staff of the Army's Chief Signal Officer and then headed the electronics section of the New Development Division of the War Department Special Staff. During this latter tour of duty, he was on a special U.S. team that inspected Japanese industry immediately after the war.In 1947, shortly after he returned to Palo Alto, Hewlett was named vice president of HP. He was elected executive vice president in 1957, president in 1964, and also was named chief executive officer in 1969.Over the years, Hewlett contributed to the advancement of various organizations within the electronics industry.Hewlett had a keen interest in education and medicine. He was a trustee of Mills College in Oakland, Calif., from 1958 to 1968 and Stanford University from 1963 to 1974, and was a member of the San Francisco regional panel of the Commission on White House Fellows from 1969 to 1970.Hewlett was an honorary trustee of the California Academy of Sciences, a member of the National Academy of Engineering and the National Academy of Sciences and a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He was also trustee emeritus of the Carnegie Institution of Washington.Hewlett held honorary degrees from American colleges and universities: honorary doctor of law degrees from the University of California at Berkeley, Yale University, Mills College, Marquette University and Brown University; honorary doctor of science degrees from Polytechnic Institute of New York and Kenyon College; honorary doctor of engineering degrees from the University of Notre Dame, Dartmouth College and Utah State University; and an honorary doctor of humane letters from Johns Hopkins University.

He also held an honorary doctor of public policy degree from the Rand Graduate Institute and an honorary doctor of humanities degree from Santa Clara University. Internationally, Hewlett held an honorary doctor of electronic science degree from the University of Bologna in Italy. In October of 1999, Hewlett received the Eta Kappa Nu Association's Eminent Member Award.Hewlett had a wide range of outside interests and hobbies, most of them based on his love for the outdoors. He was a part-time botanist and an accomplished mountain climber, skier and fisherman. He also maintained various ranching and cattle-raising operations with Packard in California and Idaho.
William Hewlett was very educated person. He knew where and how to make a decision. But we cannot imagine HP company without David Packard. The secret of their success is that choosing the right things to do in a right time. I learned that the Group work can help you a lot, because it has so many advantages, If in case there is a problem, one of them can give a nice idea, and solve the problem easily. And the greatest success comes to that person who is not afraid to fail even in front of largest audience.

He dreams for a living. Once he said " Every year we different  person, I don`t think we are the same person all our lives " We can from this quote so many things, for example, we don`t stay the same, we change because of experience, because of situation, and because of people. His life inspires people. He did so may things in his life. All his life he has been interested in movie, he loves it, and he became successful because of his childhood love, even if everything changed, but his love to movies stayed same.

H proved that to be a successful businessman you should be experienced and have a specific goals. But not every time happens what we want.

Henry Ford

Henry Ford was an automobile manufacturer. He was born on July 30, 1863 on his family's farm in Dearborn, Michigan. From the time he was a young boy, Ford enjoyed tinkering with machines. Farm work and a job in a Detroit machine shop afforded him ample opportunities to experiment. He later worked as a part-time employee for  the  company which named Westinghouse Engine Company. By 1896, Ford had constructed his first horseless carriage which he sold in order to finance work on an improved model. He was very simple and his young ages was very hard, he used to work extra hours and he used ti fix watches to earn money, because his income was very low.

Ford Cars
Ford incorporated the Ford Motor Company in 1903, proclaiming, "I will build a car for the great multitude." In October 1908, he did so, offering the Model T for $950. In the Model T's nineteen years of production, its price dipped as low as $280. Nearly 15,500,000 were sold in the United States alone. The Model T heralds the beginning of the Motor Age; the car evolved from luxury item for the well-to-do to essential transportation for the ordinary man.Ford's affordable Model T irrevocably altered American society. As more Americans owned cars, urbanization patterns changed. The United States saw the growth of suburbia, the creation of a national highway system, and a population entranced with the possibility of going anywhere anytime. Ford witnessed many of these changes during his lifetime, all the while personally longing for the agrarian lifestyle of his youth. In the years prior to his death on April 7, 1947, Ford sponsored the restoration of an idyllic rural town called Greenfield Village.
This is one of the latest and luxury car from Ford company. Henry Ford he was a just farmer`s son and became a founder of Ford company. Even if he had problems and unfair things, he didn`t stop. Life is a series of experiences, and each one makes us more bigger and stronger. As i understood from Ford`s life is money cannot help you to survive in this world. The only thing that helps you to survive is knowledge, experience and ability. Once he said " You cannot learn in school, what the world is going to do next year" so that`s why we should be able to survive in any situation.

Michael Dell

Michael Dell was born  February 23, 1965 in Houston, Texas. He is an American business magnate and author. He is well known as the founder of Dell Inc. He was interested in technology since young ages. He was very hard worker Dell landed a job washing dishes at a Chinese restaurant at the age 12 so that he could put away money for his stamp collection. A few years later he harassed his ability to sift through data to find new customers for newspaper subscriptions for the Houston Post, which earned the high school student $18,000 in one single year.Intrigued by the expanding world of computers and gadgetry, Dell purchased an early Apple computer at the age of 15 for the strict purpose of taking it apart to see how it worked. His parents were still hoping that he would be a doctor. But even when he was in the University, he used to do business, his 1st business started  when he was a student.

Dell Computers
It was in college that Dell found the niche that would become his boom. The PC world was still young and Dell realized that no company had tried selling directly to customers. Bypassing the middleman and the markups, Dell tapped his savings account for $1,000 and started building and selling computers for people he knew at college. His emphasis, however, wasn't just on good machines, but strong customer support and cheaper prices. Soon, he had accounts outside of school and it wasn't long before Dell dropped out and focused all his efforts on his business. The numbers proved staggering. In 1984, Dell's first full year in business, he had $6 million in sales. By 2000, Dell was a billionaire and his company had offices in 34 countries and employee count of more than 35,000. The following year, Dell Computer surpassed Compaq Computer as the world's largest PC maker.Overall, Dell's first 20 years proved to be one of the most successful businesses on the planet, surprising such titans as Wal-Mart and General Electric. Dell's story is so compelling that in 1999 he published a bestselling book about his success, Direct from Dell: Strategies That Revolutionized the Industry.
To be honest Dell is one of the best companies in the world. Because of the Michael Dell, his system, his ideas and his entrepreneurship skills that made him successful in the young age. you don`t have to be a genius and visionary to be successful, you just need to have a dream and motivation. If you have it, even from down of the earth you can come out and get what you wanted. I learned that we need to know that the right opportunity is right now, not in future. You should work hard and pursue your dreams.

Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs (1955-2011)
Steve Jobs was born on February 24,1955. He is an American  entrepreneur best known as the co-founder, chairman and chief executive officer of Apple Inc. He was interested in computers from his childhood. After he enrolled in high school Jobs spent his free time at Hewlett-Packard. After high school, Jobs enrolled at Reed College in Portland, Oregon. Lacking direction, he dropped out of college after six months and spent the next 18 months dropping in on creative classes. Jobs later recounted how one course in calligraphy developed his love of typography. In 1974, Jobs took a position as a video game designer with Atari. Several months later he left Atari to find spiritual enlightenment in India, traveling the continent and experimenting with psychedelic drugs. In 1976, when Jobs was just 21, he and Wozniak started Apple Computers.  The duo started in the Jobs family garage, and funded their entrepreneurial venture after Jobs sold his Volkswagen bus and Wozniak sold his beloved scientific calculator.

Apple Computers

Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak met in 1971. That time Steve Jobs was 16 years old. 1976 Wozniak invented the Apple I computer.  In the yearly 1980s Jobs was among the first to see the commercial potential of Xerox PAR`s mouse-driven graphical user interface, which led to the creation of the Apple Lisa. However, the next several products from Apple suffered significant design flaws resulting in recalls and consumer disappointment. IBM suddenly surpassed Apple sales, and Apple had to compete with an IBM/PC dominated business world. In 1984 Apple released the Macintosh, marketing the computer as a piece of a counter culture lifestyle: romantic, youthful, creative. But despite positive sales and performance superior to IBM's PCs, the Macintosh was still not IBM compatible. Scully believed Jobs was hurting Apple, and executives began to phase him out.In 1985, Jobs resigned as Apple's CEO to begin a new hardware and software company called NeXT, Inc. The following year Jobs purchased an animation company from George Luxas, which later became Pixar Animation Studios. Believing in Pixar's potential, Jobs initially invested $50 million of his own money into the company. Jobs and Wozniak are credited with revolutionizing the computer industry by democratizing the technology and making the machines smaller, cheaper, intuitive, and accessible to everyday consumers. The two conceived a series of user-friendly personal computers that they initially marketed for $666.66 each. Their first model, the Apple I, earned them $774,000. Three years after the release of their second model, the Apple II, sales increased 700 percent to $139 million dollars. In 1980, Apple Computer became a publically traded company with a market value of $1.2 billion on the very first day of trading. Jobs looked to marketing expert John Scully of Pepsi-Cola to help fill the role of Apple's President.

Apple introduced such revolutionary products as the Macbook Air, iPod, and iPhone. Apple``s the most new product is iPhone 5. It came to the market on 12 September, 2012.
What a pity that Steve Jobs is not with us when iPhone 5 launched. But we learned a lot of thing from him, he is a creator of a new modern technology of our times. He created a product with his soul. I learned also to start small but think big, only then we can be successful. And think differently.  Even if you are taking a huge risk, you should believe in your dreams and take an advantage from every moment of life.
